The Great Himalaya Trail on Flickr

October 10th, 2010  | Comments: 4

We’ve put a lot of effort into gathering trekking pictures from talented photographers taken across Nepal to show the diversity of landscapes, people and alternative trekking possibilities. There are some great pictures there but we’re just scratching the surface and will keep trying to find new pictures from great photographers from the different sections of the GHT in Nepal.

Add your pictures

If you have pictures from off the beaten track trekking areas in Nepal which you are proud of, please add them to the Great Himalaya Trail group on Flickr – please make sure they have titles and descriptions! You can view the pictures in the group here as a slideshow.

Some newly added pictures include Tsum Valley, Upper Mustang and the Manaslu Circuit. Click below to view. Photographs of the Himalayan trekking regions of Nepal on flickr

  • Very nice work. I like the pictures, the people and landscape.
    We’ll be there one day.

  • I’m trekking lover. I’ve trekked around Dhaulagiri, around Annapurna, Annapurna BC, Everest BC, Everest-Kalapather, Island Peak , Gokyo, Chola Pass, and many other. Interested to do this trekking part by part, what would be the best way.

Sorry we have no detailed advice, but I think best to simply contact a trekking agent for the section you first want to tackle.
