Mountain biking in Nepal

As mentioned in the FAQ “Can I ride the Great Himalaya Trail on a mountain-bike?” the answer is ‘yes’ but there are many better places to go riding.
Mountain biking is becoming increasingly popular in Nepal. More and more local guys, and just a few girls so far, are buying bikes and heading out to discover trails every morning at six. And every ride includes a stop here and there for hot, sweet Nepali tea.
Many companies spend the off-peak season trying out different trails and trying to make good tours that include great, ride-able track, take in a festival or weekend market and give good views of the snowy peaks.
The people running these companies are all friendly people and they love what they do. Send one or all of them an email and see what they can recommend for you. They might recommend the Great Himalaya Trail, but probably they have some much better local knowledge to share with you.
And, you probably already have, but try to find more about mountain biking in Nepal on Google.
