I am Rankesh Gurung from Ganesh Himal involved in the tourism since 1992. I am the one urging about promoting the tourism in the region, but I never get a chance and supporter from the donor agency. Today, I am very happy that you are developing the Ganesh Himal through the great Himalaya trail. AS on:
I have established a NGO called HEED nepal and working for school building in those 4 VDCs with support from DEVRA in UK and the other is Medicinal Aromatic plants(MAPs)project in 6 VDCs on the support of PVF and of TMI (Them Mountain Institute) Asia Regional office in Nepal.
Today, I feel great that you are developing the top 10 trekking region through The Great Himalaya Trail which has mentioned the Tirudanda.
I have also some concept about the region and developing the concept paper on “Cross-country trail” in the Upper Ankhu Valley in Ganesh Himal Region that links from Nuwakot district to Gurkha Distric through Dhading District.
we have created the itineraries organizing some trekking through our trekking company and informing to the other trekking company.
in this contest I also very much interested to develop the Ganesh Himal Region. We are leaving for Ganesh himal basecamp on May 16th to have look the trails with Clive Robert from Ireland.
